EMTEC utilizes the team approach in providing all environmental engineering services. The team is selected based on the specific criteria for the environmental service to be performed. For projects requiring a Phase I environmental site assessment, one of the team members will be a registered professional engineer. For a Phase II environmental site assessment the team will be selected depending upon the sampling requirement. The following key EMTEC personnel will be available. Their areas of expertise are:

A.E. Johnson, Jr., P.E. - Environmental Site Assessments, Hazardous Materials, Transport and Disposal, Storm Water Plans, Noise Impact Studies, NPDES Permits, Risk Assessment Specialist, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Treatment, Structural Analysis, Storm Water Management, and HVAC and Steam (Boiler) System Review.  Mr. Johnson is one of EMTEC's founders in 1985, and is now Secretary/Treasurer for the company and holds 50% ownership.

John Hatchett - Project Manager with Extensive Training in Investigation and Remediation of Fungal Contamination in Buildings, Senior Project Manager, Industrial Hygienist, AHERA Certified Asbestos Inspector and Contractor/Supervisor, NIOSH 582 Air Quality Monitoring, Contract/Supervisor, Hazardous Materials Handling.  Mr. Hatchett has been a vital part of the company since 1997 and is now President of the company and holds 50% ownership. 

John Malkowski, P.E. - Project Engineer / Project Manager for groundwater, petroleum and hazardous waste contaminated sites, Hazardous Materials, Transport and Disposal, NPDES Permits, Stormwater Management, and water treatment equipment design.

Shane Knowlton - Environmental Technician and Project Manager with experience in Storm Water Management and a Certified Asbestos Technician.

Carri Barton - Project fiscal manager.

Kallee Stovall – Office Manager, QA/QC, record keeping.

Architectural/Engineering Support – The Johnson-McAdams Firm, P.A., Greenwood , Mississippi . This firm is used for extensive architectural/engineering work. Major Clients – Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Post Office, and many other federal agencies. Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC support by Pettit & Pettit Engineers of Little Rock, Arkansas.
